 ethical considerations  (16 Hours) ↓
Though there is a strong demand and an ever growing need for Recovery Coaching, most organizations hesitate to connect their patients and clients to just anyone that calls themselves a Recovery Coach; they most certainly will not depend on those "recovery coaches" who have no formal ethical training and are without certification from a respected, accredited training organization.

In this award-winning, industry leading course, Recovery Coaches receive the educational requirements for certification. Thus, addressing the missing element that most Recovery Coaches lack.

This two day training addresses the critical issues pertaining to ethical considerations in the addiction and recovery support field. Using presentations, small group work, and role play, essential components every Recovery Coach must know, fully understand, and apply with their clients will be addressed. Some of the topics include: defining the coaching service role and functions, coaching standards, issues of vulnerability, ethical decision making, performance enhancement and legal issues.  Space is limited and this course fills up quickly.

recovery family mentor training (rfm) (15 Hours)↓
The Recovery Family Mentor Training provides a Recovery Coach the unique ability to help families affected by the addiction of a loved one.  This training is also open to family members so they can receive first-hand, expert training, insight, and advise which they can use and apply to their personal situation.

The Recovery Family Mentor training is designed to be an interactive format and the content was developed by Dr. Richard Froilán-Dávila in collaboration with Dr. Michael Mendal Galer; both carrier professional educators with nearly a century of combined experience in the addiction recovery field.

Recovery Coaches who complete the Recovery Family Mentor training are able to provide invaluable support directly to family members desperately seeking help, hope, and guidance for themselves and for their loved one.

Macro PERSPECTIVES OF PEER COACHING SUPPORT  (15 Hours) ↓
This presentation is based on looking at how to consider the macro and micro perspectives of Recovery Life Coaching.  We build of the "systems" exposure we learned in the RFM course on families.
Some individuals in recovery find that just getting their basic human needs met seems to be so far out of reach. For others, life might be so unbalanced, that all they need is some stable footing so they can walk down their own path in recovery. While others might seem to have everything going for them, except that addiction isolated them for so long and they have no healthy social relationships to foster recovery.  We address some of this by presenting William White's materials on fragility.
Life in recovery, especially early recovery, is different for everyone. Which is why, in this course, you will learn how to help those in recovery understand how to identify what they need, find and access those resources, and get connected and linked to the world around them in healthy ways, where ever they may be at in their recovery.

course information
RECOVERY PEER SPECIALIST ↓
This course is designed for Military Veterans interested in becoming a personal mentor for other Veterans seeking recovery from substance abuse, those receiving mental health services, or those in early recovery who may need assistance removing the barriers and obstacles they may encounter in the recovery process.  Through our 30 hour RPS-V Training Academy, individuals will learn the roles associated with being a Recovery Peer Mentor, such as motivator and confidante, problem solver, truth teller, advocate, and  lifestyle consultant. The RPS-V provides support with system navigation and service access. Participants also learn the importance of what a RPS-V is not and upon completion of the course, will be prepared for certification by the Florida Board of Certification.

Recovery 4 All's Approach

Recovery is more than just abstaining from addictive behaviors and substances. For those afflicted with an addiction, they vividly understand and repeatedly experience it's ever destructive reach, one that extends into all areas of their life - and for some, even to the core of their own identity. As if that was not enough, no one walks away unharmed from addiction's damaging path either; this includes any meaningful relationship, children, family, and communities - and this can last for generations.

Recovery 4 All's experienced training team provides students with personal interaction, critical knowledge, compassionate understanding, and enhanced recovery support skills necessary for every effective Recovery Coach.

Our student-to-instructor ratio and the practice of student/instructor contact between class sessions affords an intimate sized group the opportunity to explore training topics at a depth and breath far beyond normal class dynamics.

Participants tell us they feel inspired to be lifelong learners, not simply just collectors of Continuing Education Units.

Our unique Recovery Coach Training provides the essential components required for recovery support certification. These are crucial to every Recovery Coach as they effectively provide support to individuals, and families, helping each navigate their own pathway in recovery.
