About Dr. Richard D. Dávila  (Rick)

Dr. Dávila is a Recovery Life Coach Professional who helps individuals seeking regular ongoing coaching and/or recovery support as people in recovery build a solid foundation. He is the President of Recovery All, Inc. a company that focuses on Recovery Support Services for all pathways to recovery. He has been International/National Certified Gambling Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor. Currently he is a Recovery Coach Professional, Trainer and Trainer of Trainers (TOT) for the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy. He is renowned international lecturer in adult education, alcohol & drugs, and diversity. He is a person in long term recovery.

Dr. Dávila received his Masters (MSW) and Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut. With more than thirty-five years of experience in education, addictions training, and community work, Dr. Dávila brings unparalleled experience and expertise in the Addiction and Recovery Studies field.  
Dr. Dávila has held faculty and management positions in the fields of addiction studies and educational leadership. He has served on local, state, and national agency boards in the field of addictions, including Initial Review Groups (IRG) for the office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
He is the co-author of three books: "Living Your Life Not Your Story, (2nd edition)",  "A Holistic Look at Substance Use Recovery; a book to encourage the recovery wellness model", and "Recovery Family Mentor Workbook".  All can be ordered through www.Amazon.com.   He has also written numerous articles for respected academic addiction journals. Further, Dr. Dávila has presented at several national addiction conferences.  

Dr.  Dávila served as the Associate Dean for the School of Human Services for Springfield College. And, for the 2006-2007 academic year, was appointed Distinguished Professor of Humanics, the highest faculty distinction as a faculty person at Springfield College.

Recently, Dr. Dávila retired from his position as Professor and Campus Director at Springfield College, serving as a full, tenured professor for the School of Professional and Continuing Studies, Tampa Bay Florida Campus. Springfield College,  He is currently Professor Emeritus. He is also currently helping treatment programs implement enhanced "recovery support services".  He is a sought after Recovery Life Coach and a deliverer of quality training to persons wishing to become a Recovery Coach Professional (RCP) and other certifications in the delivery of Recovery Support Services.
