Ethical Considerations

Recovery Coaching and the support services they provide are in high demand. Becoming a reliable practice, Recovery Coaching is increasingly being depended upon by hospitals, treatment centers, social workers, government agencies, recovery community organizations, and other institutions - for a very necessary reason. These organizations encounter a large number of individuals and families on a daily basis who are suffering and need assistance and ongoing support with their continuation of care for substance use disorders. By relying on Recovery Coaches to help their patients and clients access recovery support services and recovery resources, those institutions can more effectively provide addiction treatment and prevent relapse.

However, even though there is a strong demand and an ever growing need for Recovery Coaching, these organizations hesitate to connect their patients and clients to just anyone that calls themselves a Recovery Coach; they most certainly will not depend on those "recovery coaches" who have no formal ethical training and are without certification from a respected, accredited training organization.

In this award-winning, industry leading course, Recovery Coaches receive the educational requirements for certification. Thus, addressing the missing element that most Recovery Coaches lack.

Using real-world examples, dynamic presentations, small group work, and role play, a multitude of ethical considerations in recovery coaching will be covered - i.e. defining the coaching service role and functions, coaching standards, issues of vulnerability, ethical decision making, performance enhancement and legal issues.

Space is limited and this course fills up rather quickly. If you want to become a dependable, credentialed recovery coach, this a necessary course - especially if you want to work with the organizations and institutions mentioned above.
